I have been a teacher for over twenty years and held a range of management and leadership posts. I have taught from FS1 to Y6. Currently, I am a member of the Extended Primary Leadership Team at The Alice Smith School, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with specific responsibility for Students Welfare. Previously, I worked in Bristol and North Somerset counties in the U.K. In 2015, I qualified as a coach with the Institute of Leadership & Management. The impact of this has been life changing. I enjoy a coach relationship with a number of school colleagues, which from feedback is supporting reflective practice and school improvement. As well as this, I am a coachee, this is enabling me to nurture my own well being and to be effective in my role at school. Since being registered as a coach with the National College of Teaching & Leadership UK, I have worked with a number of colleagues in the U.K. always via Skype. I registered to be a coach because I am an enthusiastic lifelong learner. Throughout my career I have been a proactive and driven person. The feedback about working with me has been consistently positive. My experiences as a coach and coachee have been varied and all a source of personal and professional satisfaction.
