I am a professionally accredited and licenced leadership coach, trainer and workshop facilitator. Apart from being grounded in an academic study of leadership, strategy, and change, balanced by wide-ranging real-life leadership experiences, I have a background in Neuro-Semantics and NLP and am guided by the principles of Positive Psychology and the Human Potential Movement. When I first read about the Women Leading in Education initiative, I knew that I was supporting a cause close to my heart.
About 20 years ago I left classroom teaching to become involved in the formation of school leaders and in whole school development across many different schools in a large region. Over the past 8 years I’ve been a school governor in 3 schools, one of which is an alternative provider of education. I also have extensive experience as an HR Business Partner.
The most important outcome for the coaching I offer is to unleash the potential for great leadership in each woman so that they hone their personal leadership signature and build a leadership legacy that they feel proud of. Together we take time to find which changes would make the most significant long lasting difference. Coaching over a period of time enables the Woman Leading in Education to practice, implement, and test change, adjusting where necessary and emerging a more confident, resilient, and resourceful leader.
